Peer to Peer (P2P) Mentoring Program

  • 9 month program (September – May)
  • At least 1 mentoring “meeting” per month
  • Attend at least 1 WICT Atlanta event together
  • Mid-Year Mentoring Meeting
  • Celebration Event and Wrap-Up/Post-Program Evaluation

Monthly Meetings

  • Identify discussion topics
  • Drive development and action items/needs identification
  • Adhere to Confidentiality and Non-Solicitation Agreements

Gound Rules

  • Leave your title at the door
  • Turn off blackberries, cell phones, etc.
  • Have a problem-solving mindset
  • Assume the best intentions from others
  • Seek to understand before seeking to be understood
  • Speak for yourself (I think, I feel)
  • Ensure that you are heard
  • Decide on degree of external communication (confidentiality)
  • Commit to agreements and keep commitments
